Our team

The core team at Montinova is comprised of talented individuals highly experienced in Canadian housing sector and globally experienced professionals in Architecture, Engineering and Construction; AEC Industry. Our team includes architects, engineers of different disciplines, sustainability and specialized façade designers.

Montinova is a multi-disciplinary design management firm offering a variety of services and products. Combining the expertise of in-house professionals and joint venture partners in strategic collaboration with local teams, we bring the best experience of the process to our clients and the best results for the projects. We offer Architecture, Interior Design, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Urban Design and Planning services tailored for the process of executing each project and acquiring the required approvals.

Planning Management

Our collaborative multidisciplinary team, working in tandem with local planners, facilitates early engagement and provides essential technical feedback from and for our architectural and engineering teams. This proactive approach ensures a customized strategy for each project, incorporating a detailed analysis of the local context and information to align with our clients' visions. This comprehensive service spans various stages, including but not limited to approvals of OPA, ZBA, SPA, and CofA.

Permit Managment

Montinova aims to streamline the process of acquiring building permits for projects of all scales. We engage architectural and engineering teams required to develop drawings for projects from schematic design to construction documents. Montinova executes design management of projects in variety of scales from homes to communities and high rises on a fully integrated BIM based system.

INTEGRATED MULTI-DISIPLINARY DESIGN MANAGEMENT

Our integrated design management system serves as the nexus where creativity, collaboration, and cutting-edge technology converge to elevate project outcomes. Operating on a “nD” BIM foundation and integrated visualization technology systems, this approach unifies architecture, engineering, and other crucial facets and creates an ecosystem for all stakeholders and disciplines involved in the project’s lifecycle. Through this collaborative real-time and synchronized platform, we achieve unparalleled project visualization, enabling stakeholders to have a comprehensive understanding of the design at every stage.The final product of this process is BIM Level5 (Digital Twin).

Interior Design

BIM

Our firm is at the forefront of leveraging Building Information Modeling (BIM) systems to revolutionize the design and construction process. Our BIM services encompass the entire project lifecycle, from conceptualization to facility management. With a customized software package and skilled team proficient in the latest BIM technologies, we facilitate collaborative and integrated workflows.

What is design management?

Design management is a “lead designer” role bringing oversight to the design process and is responsible for execution of core and statutory tasks in all phases of the design process which includes multiple consultants and designers.

The design management team enters the process before hiring an architect in the pre-design stage to help the clients craft their strategies and goals and to create a programme for the design teams to follow.
